Fall 2024 High School League
We’re super excited to announce our Fall 2024 High School League is here! For new players/parents follow this link to learn more about ultimate frisbee. Please read the information below and don’t hesitate to contact Eric, eric@evultimate.org, if you have any more questions about the league.
Fall 2024 EVU teams will be organized by school. EVU will be organizing teams at Churchill, North, Sheldon, and Willamette. If your child is planning on playing for South, they will also have some teams in the league, but they will be organized by their existing parent and coaching structure. Please do not register here if your child plans to play for South If you’re child's school doesn’t currently have a team please register for one of our other teams, whichever is most convenient. If you’re child attends another school and you are interested in trying to get a team started there, please let me know and we can discuss if that is feasible!
Practices will start the week 9/9. They are 1.5 hours twice a week. We generally aim for practice to be right after school around 3:45-5:15, but that is still waiting to be finalized. All local practices are at or within walking distance of the players school. Specific team schedules are still being finalized.
This year we are also excited to announce a new city wide practice we will be hosting on Wednesdays at Graham Fields from 4-6. This practice is open to all high school players in the city, and a great way for our newer programs to get some practice in with some of our more experienced players. The first joint practice will be on 9/18, and the last will be on 10/30.
Local practices will be as follows:
Churchill: T/TH 3:45-5:15 at the Churchill Ball Fields
North: M/F 4:00-5:30 at Kelly
Sheldon: M/F 4-5:30 at Ascot Park
Willamette: TBD 4-530 at Shasta Middle School
Games will start on Saturday 9/21 and go to 10/26. They will be every Saturday for that time period. Saturday games will be at Century Fields on Saturdays from 12:30-2, please arrive 45 minutes early to help with setup and getting players organized.
This season we are using a sliding scale for pricing for this league. Please select the price that best fits your budget. Scholarships are still available to anyone upon request. Please please don’t hesitate to reach out about them. One thing we don’t want, is for money to be the reason your child can’t play ultimate.
For anyone unsure if ultimate is a good fit for their child, we offer two free practices before requiring participants to sign up. Initial jersey orders are put in late September, so if you register after that you’ll have to get in on the late order.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU PAY WHEN YOU REGISTER (fill out form, then click cart and checkout), OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE TO FILL EVERYTHING OUT AGAIN.
